Henry is a bioengineer, climber, and nature photographer based in Boston, Massachusetts. He started photography in 2015, but it wasn't until a family trip to the National Parks in Utah that he became captivated with landscape photography. Since then, it has taken him all over the world.
By 2019, Henry had started exploring and photographing the vertical spaces of climbing and mountaineering. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Adaptive Climbing Group, a nonprofit aimed at providing accessible climbing for people with disabilities.
Henry seeks to convey a sense of wonder in his photographs and to imbue the mood and emotions that he experiences in these wild spaces. He hopes that his images inspire others to explore the world, challenge their limits, and become responsible stewards of the natural spaces.
Some photographers that have inspired Henry are:
Jimmy Chin
Galen Rowell
Ansel Adams
Marc Adamus
Guy Tal
Thomas Heaton
Alex Noriega
Morten Hilmer
Ben Horne
Erin Babnik
Simon Baxter
Henry is a certified Wilderness First Responder and American Mountain Guide Association Single Pitch Instructor.
